Basic Info BioI am a BT/BA student at ACU but, no, I do not do literature despite so many people mistakenly thinking the contrary. This journal is a random collection of curiousities, if you will. In it you will find comment on social justice issues and current affairs, random ramblings, poetry, writing and reflections on life. I am prone to being philosophical so this space gives me somewhere for me to put all that 'stuff' in my head. I am also prone to great fits of writing, sometimes it is eloquent, sometimes it is just bursts of thought I had to get out of my head and onto the paper. In theory the latter writings are just in draft form but admittedly I rarely return to rework ideas I have had.
In October 2005 I had glandular fever. Since then I have been struggling with post-viral Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Most of my writing since that time can therefore be seen to be a reflection on that as I grow and struggle to understand myself. Not daughter-of, sister-of, studier-of, doer of goods works, wearer of many labels, but me. My true self. My whole self.
I can be startlingly open and honest. By reading this journal you are reading me like a book.
But reader beware. What you read and what you understand are not always what is meant.
